|Clever| Bold | Fiery | Reserved | Affectionate | Dreamer |
Although a feral heart, Twilight is a stargazing dreamer who never seems to stop looking at the sky.
She may be shy at times of importance, but she is bold in things she believes in. She is never hesitant to help someone in need, and is extremely compassionate about protecting her pack. Her loyalty is unbreakable once she allows her more reserved part of her surface. Twilight's courage and fiery temper are also a vital part of her as a whole. Her clever words will smite that smirk off your face once she roasts you whole until you admit that she has a point. Although her past seems to chase her everywhere, Twilight will keep going no matter how difficult the challenge that lay in wait for her.

Ever since Twilight was just a young cub, Cascade and Otoko had always been with her. As the clumsiest cub in the den, they were usually there to help steady her due to her docked tail. Twilight had always hated her tail; always envious of others and the way they could express themselves with just a slight gesture. But Cascade and Otoko helped Twilight see past that. Teaching her unique battle moves that she ended up mastering easier than any other Viscet. Later on, Twilight became the fastest Viscet in her entire pack, at just cub-age. And soon, when Twilight reached adulthood, Twilight was announced Beta Female in her pack. However, a problem lurks within her relationship between her best friends.

||The Crystal's Significance|| |
|| Mate || |
Each Viscet in the pack has his/her own crystal that matches his/her own pelt/eyes/personality/Zodiac/etc. An additional trait to these crystals, is that they are the key to his/her own personal power. (Example: Otoko can control fire while Cascade can control water) However, the crystal that Twilight is wearing, was Otoko's in his memory. But she cannot use Otoko's crystal because it doesn't belong to her. Twilight's power from her crystal is not a weapon, but an insight into the Dreams of Others. She mainly uses the crystal to insight her own dream so that when she looks at the sky at night, she sees her own galaxy.

Interveiwer: What is your favorite Prey?
Twilight: "Personally, my favorite is Thrush"
Interveiwer: If you had a song to describe you, what would it be?
Twilight: "Lies - Marina & the Diamonds; A song from me to Cascade & to Otoko."
Interveiwer: If you could go back in time to fix a mistake, when & why would you go to that time?
Twilight:"I would go back to the Forest Fire, and find Otoko in hopes of saving his life.."
Interveiwer: Why didn't you take interest in Cascade?
Twilight:"I don't know, to be honest. I just...felt that I fit so perfect with Otoko, that I suppose, I was too dense to notice Cascade...Which is my shame, for if maybe I had noticed earlier and told him my true feelings, Otoko would still be alive.."
Interveiwer:If you could choose, would you change your name?
Twilight:"Never. I would never change the name I was given from my family. It's all I have left of them..."

Tᴡɪʟɪɢʜᴛ's Sᴛᴏʀʏ
Twilight; Named after the night itself.
Her past; complicated.
However, that doesn't mean she isn't willing to talk about it if you're willing to listen.
It was midnight. A fire streaked over the horizon and advanced toward the glade. There stood Twilight; fur buffeted by the billowing wind. The fire had already devoured her home, and along with it, her pack. Could she and Cascade really be the only ones left? The flames of the fire reflected in her ice blue eyes as tears streaked down her muzzle. “Otoko!!!” she howled loudly in pain. ‘Why?! Why him out of anyone else?’ she silently wailed. But she already knew the answer to that question.
Otoko had gone back in search of her; but the question really was,
why had Cascade returned alone when he had gone to rescue the others?
-----Flash into the Past----
Twilight lay with her belly exposed in the air, gazing at the stars. It was a cool night, and the crickets surrounded her with music as she gazed at the stars above her. The moon seemed to be hiding from her behind the dark vale of the shadow from the Earth. “Isn’t it a bit too chilly to be out here alone?” inquired a deep, but gentle voice. Twilight sat up, startled, then smiled as she drank in a rather too familiar scent. “Too cold for you, Otoko? It is, after all, Spring.” she teased. Otoko smirked curtly, “Mind if I join you, ice-brain?” he inquired. “Of course I don’t mind if you join me, fish-breath.” she shot back tartly and scooted over for him. They sat there in silence for a while; looking up at the nebulous, star-scattered sky. But Otoko wasn’t looking at the stars; and Twilight felt him brush her slightly. She slowly turned to Otoko’s soft gaze meeting hers. Her heart pounded in her chest as he nuzzled her softly; Twilight nuzzled shyly back and leaned on his shoulder. His chin rested on her head; his tail wrapped around her softly. “I wish this would last forever..” whispered Otoko as a soft breeze caressed them briefly. Twilight looked up at him; eyes reflecting the stars above her. “Me too..” she murmured back and closed her eyes momentarily in embracement of the moment. However, another scent faintly collided against her nose. A familiar scent. The scent of…’Cascade’ she thought; and it was tainted with anger. Otoko shifted beside her. “What is it?” he breathed. Twilight turned to him and shook her head. “It’s probably nothing.” she responded briskly; but instinct told her otherwise.
Twilight awoke beside Otoko as the sun greeted them with it’s warm light. Stretching, Twilight turned to Otoko who was already up and nudging a half-eaten pheasant toward her. “I didn’t want to wake you, so I already ate my share.” he explained. “Nice catch.” she said warmly and quickly ate her share before helping Otoko dispose of the scraps. “We should get back to camp.” she commented and Otoko nodded in agreement. “Race you there!” He said, smirking, then dashed off without another word. “Hey! No fair, cheater!” she yelped and raced off after him; gaining ground after him easily.
-------Dusk------
The sun’s last rays of light had recently vanished behind the horizon. Otoko lay brushing pelts with Twilight in their nest. The soft glow of his crystal blended between rays from Twilight’s blue crystal; making the cave illuminate as if stars were trapped within it. It was a peaceful night, but something felt off about it to Twilight. The crickets weren’t singing, the cool breezes that usually drifted into the den didn’t make an appearance. Only the faint calls of birds called in the distance. Which was strange, considering the fact that birds weren’t usually up at this hour in the first place. Twilight shifted slightly, scooting over to the edge of the nest and drinking from the puddle that gathered near the entrance of the cave. ‘Why do I feel so...uneasy..?’ she thought warily and crawled back into the nest; her nose buried under her paws.
A sharp scent filled Twilight’s nose. ‘Smoke..’ she realized and scrambled to her paws. Her heart seemed to skip a beat as she turned to see that Otoko wasn’t there. Along with Cascade. “Otoko!” she howled and burst out of the den to see the flames had already reached the camp of her pack. A gray pelt flashed between the flames; racing almost as fast as Twilight could run. “Cascade!” she yowled; instantly recognizing him. But he didn’t seem to hear her cry, his ears pulled back into a snarl as fire cinched at his fur, but something in his eye told Twilight something was wrong. Something was utterly wrong. Something had happened.
--Otoko--
Otoko lay trapped under a burning log, eyes filling with anger and confusion. “Cascade! Help me, I can’t move!” he yowled his best over the burning sounds and the smoke filling his throat. Cascade remained where he stood, eyes glowing as the fire reflected in them. His tail lashed; “Cascade..h-” he was cut off by a nearby tree crashing to the ground; it’s weight seemed to echo through the earth at it’s fall. Still, Cascade made no move toward him. His claws grasping the earth beneath him. “Cascade...Why?” he whispered.
Cascade’s tail lashed to the side. “What do you mean, ‘why’? Ever since you were born, Otoko, Twilight never even took notice of me. I even tried to take all the territory and hunting patrols just to get her to look at me the way she looked at you..” he snarled. Otoko watched with understanding dawning on his face. “Cascade….I-” he stopped mid-sentence as Cascade interrupted him. “No, Otoko. There is nothing you can do. Nothing you can say to make up for taking her from me..” he hissed. Otoko snarled and clawed desperately at the soil under him; it wouldn’t give away. Cascade lept away from the growing flames around them. “Now if you will excuse me….I think I’m going to go help Twilight escape..But don’t worry,” he said smirking as he tore Otoko’s crystal from his neck. “I’ll make sure you don’t escape power-wise.” he said as he stepped back from the log that Otoko was trapped under. Plus,” he added “This will make such a lovely souvenir and a great backstory..” He then dashed through the forest toward Twilight. Otoko’s cries echoed as he navigated through the growing flames of the forest. A branch collapsed in front of him; nearly missing him. Leaping over it, he raced up to Twilight, who was crying with fear in her ice blue eyes. “Where is Otoko?” she whispered as she saw Cascade; his ears drooped slightly with Otoko's necklace hanging in his jaws. "He sacrificed himself for me...I tried to help him, but it was no use. Even though he could stop the flames from nearing us.....he....he couldn't stop the smoke from suffocating us.." he whispered and laid the crystal in front of Twilight. "He wanted you to have this.."
Rᴇʟᴀᴛɪᴏɴsʜɪᴘs
Otoko:
Otoko was one of Twilight's most trusted friends; and supposedly once, her mate. Although murdered, Otoko remains in Twilight's memory along with her faithfully wearing his crystal in his honor at his dying request. |
Cascade:
Cascade is in love with Twilight. However, he feels as though he is discarded by Twilight because of "Otoko" :Growl: Although rather jealous, Cascade doesn't give up easy. He's too stubborn for that. He is gentle, loving, and caring when he wants to be, he's just a little too shy to show it at times. (This Viscet doesn't belong to me! However, I have permission from the owner to use this Viscet for my story! ^-^) |
Nova:
Nova and Twilight don't exactly get along. Sure, they may live in the same pack, but doesn't mean they don't have a few irritating disagreements..Especially since they're after the same Male... >,> Perhaps it would be best if they'd avoid each other entirely. |
Mononoke:
Mononoke is practically Twilight's sister. Together, they were practically unstoppable right from the beginning. If Twilight were to choose anyone to take care of her crystal, it would be most definitely Mononoke. |
Fᴀᴍɪʟʏ Rᴇʟᴀᴛɪᴏɴsʜɪᴘs
Alister:
Alister and Twilight are very close as Mother to Son. He has always kept a close eye on her health. Never questioning about his father since the subject seemed to pain his mother too much. |
Anakin:
Anakin and Twilight tend to fight more, yet with Alister to step in, they usually get along just fine. Hot-headed and brave; just like his father. Sometimes it's hard not to confuse Anakin and his father, Otoko as the same Viscet |
Aravae:
Aravae, as Twilight's granddaughter, makes Twilight feel quite old, despite her reasonably young age. Aravae reminds Twilight of her sometimes by the way she always seems to see the good in others, despite their past or personality.
